Cooler Temps Invade The Northeast This Weekend

It has been an unseasonably warm October for much of the lower 48. From the north-central to the northeastern U.S. records have been falling since earlier this week. We had another batch of record warmth for the Northeast on Thursday. Philadelphia tied a record high today of 82°. Binghamton, NY broke the new record high. They city saw a temp of 75°, beating out the old record of 70° set in 2003.As a frontal boundary moves through we will see cloud coverage increase, rain, and temps dropping following the frontal boundary. The warm streak is finally coming to an end.

The front will move from West to east, bringing impacts along with it. Cool temps invade Chicago and Cleveland on Friday and Saturday. As the front continues east, on Saturday, cities like New York, Raleigh, and Washington will have temps more near average.
